The Pell Grant is a Federal award that does not have to be repaid and ranges from -0- to $5815.

This is a loan you must repay. Subsidized loans are available for up to $3500, if you qualify, for the classes that begin in 2017. An additional $6000 in unsubsidized loans may be available as well. These loans are not subject to credit approval and are available to most students regardless of credit history. Instructions for filing are in the Student Financial Packet that you receive at the information session.
Alternative Student Loans may also be available to you. The loan limit is individually based, and the interest rate is usually much higher than a Stafford Loan. For this loan you need to have good credit or a co-signer with good credit. You will need to contact different banks to see who offers these loans. Wells-Fargo has two alternative student loan programs, and PNC Bank, and Charter One Bank have loans available as well. Another loan program is through Campus Door.
The School Scholarship is offered to all Cuyahoga County residents thanks to the generosity of the John Huntington Fund for Education. All applicants who reside in Cuyahoga County and apply for a scholarship will receive at least $1500. This scholarship can only be used for tuition at CSPN and is non-transferable.
